Top Emergency Must Have-must Know for Our Kids
Visits to the local emergency room hospital are about one-third of their patients, and yet hospitals around the country do not seem to be set up for the specific needs that children require.
Children need smaller everything when it comes to medical assistance. This may require everything from smaller equipment to the medical equipment required to treat a child. In many cases, a hospital emergency room staff may or may not know how to adapt adult sizes down to a child size; but some may have already had experience and they are forced to ‘jury-rig’ the medical treatment so that the child is accommodated.
Parents should not only be aware of these problems, but should be alerted and on top of it, when you need to take your children into the hospital.
