Medicine’s Nano Robots: Investment in our Future Health
Science Fiction aficionados have known about the miracles of health technology for decades. Like many of the predictions of the Sci-Fi aspect, this world is now a reality.
Nano robots (known as nanobots) come in all shapes and each has a purpose. Smaller than a human blood cell, some seek out cancer cells and inject medication. Some are tool workers, complete with a repair kit that can fuse tissue together or repair a heart. Others are called ‘assistants’ as they flow through a body, helping a physician assess damage or problems.
The universe of medical technology previously seen in the movies or in a Science Fiction writer’s genius, is being used today. And, investment in these medical miracles are some of the hottest topics in the healthcare industry.
