Apple’s Win May Cause a Loss for Innovations in the Future
Apple has certainly dragged themselves up by their bootstraps from a struggling computer industry to a main player in the smartphone world, but, having only one leader on that side of technology is not the best thing for innovation. We have seen it time and time again, where a major company with vision and insight takes the wheel of the ship and then just glides, without making any changes.
The recent Apple vs Samsung lawsuit may have allowed Apple to continue on their throne, but it is putting other technology companies in a position of question as to whether their new product will be next on the chopping block. Even such giants as Microsoft experienced poorly received product acceptance with their Windows phone. We, as consumers, need to be careful who we place in power, what our expectations are and when to make changes in choices.
