#4: Like sign number three, you always need to be on the look out for scaly and rough patches of skin, but if you are finding flat, scaly brown or red skin? There is a definite sign of skin cancer.
#5: One thing that many people do not realize can be a sign of skin cancer is any new skin growth. If you are finding a lot of new skin growth appearing, it could be a sign that you have skin cancer.

While many people believe that skin cancer is mostly gotten from lying out in the sun too long, there are many different things that can contribute to a person getting skin cancer. For example, people with lighter colored eyes such as greens or blues are more likely to get skin cancer than someone with brown or hazel eyes.

This is very insightful information, thanks! It's a bit worrisome as well, as I have green eyes and blonde hair, and do tend to burn easily. So, that makes me more prone, but can you explain why?
