Chocolate is fine, it’s the sugar that will get you, and in more than one way.July 18th, 2009 at 10:43 am
Personally, I love most of those foods up there and now that I know that they can help you lose weight? Oh lord, I'm in heaven! Thank you so much!March 17th, 2009 at 11:53 pm
what about a milk chocolate bar?August 16th, 2010 at 6:16 pm
Eating milk chocolate or highly processed chocolate will do more harm than good, they add things making it bad for you like sugar and cream and additives. But cocoa in it's pure form is VERY good for you and low in fat and sugar. I have cocoa powder I add to my smoothies daily. It tasted delicious and is very low in fat but really good for you. You can buy raw cocoa nibs or powder as well.June 28th, 2010 at 1:47 am
all in moderation, my friend. just because chocolate is associated with a guilty pleasure doesn't mean it can't have redeeming qualities. they've already explained how [dark] chocolate can benefit your metabolism so I don't need to reiterate. if you eat ANYTHING in excess, you will gain weight. you don't think too much cheese or nuts will pack on calories (and pounds)? why is your only problem with chocolate? portion size is key. remember that next time you think it's ok to gorge yourself on the other 9 foods listed above.April 28th, 2009 at 10:27 pm

Great article. All I would add there is - drink cold drinks with your food - your stomach has to warm your food up before it can digest it - it burns calories doing that and use spices like chili and curry - great metabolism boosters as well as they increase blood pressure.February 21st, 2009 at 11:22 pm
