The World of Mobile Goes Global and Retailers are Gearing Up

Mobile apps are cropping up everywhere. Now that a majority of the world has adapted to smartphone use, the world of mobile apps is being taken to another level to give us the ability to make purchases via mobile apps.

Big business (including some of the biggest names around) are partnering to use our smartphones to make all of those lovely buys, without having to even touch our wallet. Imagine, whether it’s buying your weekly groceries, getting the car repaired or setting up your vacation, it can all be paid by using a mobile app and adding your signature.

Fourteen companies have aligned themselves together (with little information revealed so far) for the creation of the Merchant Customer Exchange in the launch of their mobile wallet.
