The Refinery (Tampa)
The Refinery in Tampa offers patrons a truly unique experience. Focusing on all organic, locally-grown food, the restaurant changes its menu up frequently depending on “what local farmers have to offer each week.” In fact, the establishment alters its menu so often that it posts a new one every week, and even changes that every few days. Right now, some of the refined menu options include a vegetarian and gluten-free Grilled Eggplant “Crostini” that comes with pumpkin goat cheese, grape tomatoes, honeydew, and fine herbs. There’s also the vegan dish, Ceeb U Niebe with black eyed pea stew, okra, peanuts, rice, and chile. In addition to dinner, The Refinery offers a seasonal brunch menu, as well as drinks that include craft brew beer from Cigar City and small vineyard wine selections. It has even received recognition from Southern Living, The Washington Post, and New York Magazine. Anyone looking for fresh, tasty organic food in Tampa Bay would do well not to turn their nose up at The Refinery.
