The North American Revival of Energy: Are We Doing the Right Thing?
Investors seem to be quite confused as to which direction North America is taking. On the one hand, we are encouraging energy independence, but that is slanted with an increase in drilling for oil and natural gas (two main culprits in pollution). On the other hand, we are looking for companies to ‘go green’ with little in the way of technology and products to show for it.
The decisions that we make today are going to be the imprint of how everyone lives, works and what we drive. We can choose to slap a bandage on the topic of pollution and rename it to energy independence, but, it’s not sustainable or renewable. In other words, it’s a temporary run and the well will dry up.
