Taco Bus
When the wheels of the appetite go ‘round and ‘round, what better way to satisfy it than to hitch a ride on the Taco Bus? That’s exactly what Tampa Bay’s indie culture does, and with five locations throughout the area, including downtown Tampa, St. Pete, and Brandon, there’s a Bus stop on practically every corner. In addition to providing the standard taste of Mexico by way of their tacos, quesadillas, and tortas, Taco Bus features Vegetarian and Gluten-Free menus, with “Portabella Ranchero,” which consists of a smorgasbord of tasty sautéed and roasted veggies served together, as well as a tofu dish among the options on the vegetarian menu. Their tortillas, tostadas, rice and beans, and ranchero are all Gluten Free. And not to be outdone in Creativity 101, their Vegetarian Menu also includes Butternut Squash and Vegan Steak Strips the mark of which even the most dedicated student of Mexican food would be hard-pressed to find anywhere else in Tampa Bay.
