Men should Add Chocolate to Diet to Reduce Chance of Stroke

Scientists in Sweden have conducted research in the association of chocolate consumption in men and how it may correlate with the reduction of stroke. The results have been published in the journal Neurology and are a definite must read for men.

The study involved men that consumed one third cup of chocolate chips on a weekly basis. The results showed that men that consumed the chocolate had a seventeen percent better chance of not having a stroke, as compared to those that did not consume any chocolate. The type of chocolate used for the testing was European chocolate.

It is known that chocolate is high in sugar and fat and any change in diet should be monitored and changed in moderation. The information is interesting and may help reduce the number of men that experience strokes.
