Google is poised to pounce on the world of small tablets, with the intent of a wild cat. Yes, Apple has held the crown when the tablet was first released, and the Kindle Fire has entered the fray with a vengeance (doing incredibly well during the holiday season), but Google is getting ready to ensure that their Nexus 7 product will take over and be the overall winner.

Google seems to have been focused on preparing and releasing their phone and tablet operating system, but the claim to fame that Google will have is their direct to the consumer marketing savvy.

In the tech world, there is always someone in a garage, creating the next new tool or toy. Apple may have started the game, but Google is going to give them a run for their money
