China Leads in Solar Manufacturing and Facing Financial Issues
China is known globally as the largest producer of solar technology. Thanks to their development of high tech voltaic solar cells, their solar industry showed an incredible level of success in sales around the world. However, that success has slowed down to a mere trickle.
Most of the problem of the downtrend is due to the sluggish world economy. However another part is due to the U.S. imposition of tariffs for antisubsidy and antidumping, which is nearing thirty three percent. While these tariffs are subject to review it has started the creation of a European Union to being the same process. The institution of the tariffs by the United States is the largest ever seen and creates grounds to threaten the relations between the two countries.
